Monitor SyncMaster 753v

Estimados,

Cambié mi monitor por un Samsung SyncMaster 753v de 17" y al instalar 
Fedora reconoce la tarjeta de video integrada y el monitor, sin embargo 
no levanta X.  Lo mismo me pasó con RedHat 9.0

Intenté reconfigurarlo con redhat-config-xfree86, pero no me fue 
posible.  Hice pruebas con las configuraciones que encontré en Internet 
y tampoco lo he logrado.

Les agradeceré si alguien pasó por esto y logró hacerlo funcionar me 
mande el archivo o me indique dónde puedo encontrar la info.  Para poder 
instalarlo tuve que ocupar la opción "linux lowres".
