Problemas instalando Openldap en Debian

Buenas tardes,

Estoy intentando instalar openldap en debian stable, y me da el siguiente
error:

A package failed to install.  Trying to recover:

Tratando de reconfigurar el paquete:

growing:/etc/apt# dpkg-reconfigure slapd
/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: slapd is broken or not fully installed


Intentando arreglar el asunto:

growing:/etc/apt# apt-get -f install

[...]

Setting up slapd (2.4.11-1) ...
  Backing up /etc/ldap/slapd.conf in /var/backups/slapd-2.4.11-1... done.
Starting OpenLDAP: slapd - failed.

Pense que el problema era del repositorio, y lo cambie, teniendo el mismo
error.
Pense que el problema era la rama, asi es que probe con testing,
experimentando el mismo error.

A alguien le ha pasado lo mismo, o alguien que tenga Debian puede probar
please?
