eth0 vs sonido -> Disabling IRQ #18 (ubuntu hoary 5.04)

  Hace unos dias instale ubuntu hoary 5.04 con el kernel 2.6.10-5-386
y he tenido problemas con la red, cada cierto tiempo mi pc simplemente
quedaba fuera de la red y cuando intentaba hacer algun ping me decia
network unrecheable (no si lo escribi bien), entonces desactivava la
tarjeta de red, la activava de nuevo, cambiaba mi ip, revisaba los
cables, y nada! la unica solucion era reiniciar. Luego revise los
modulos y le heche la culpa al modulo ipv6, entonces lo desactive,
pero el problema persitio. Hoy me di cuenta que la tarjeta de red
muere cuando  pongo musica, al hacer un dmesg me sale lo sgte:

 Cuando cierro el xmms bajo y subo la tarjeta de red y se arregla
inmediatamente.

 Entonces veo que hay un conflicto entre mi tarjeta de sonido (una
via82 integrada) y mi tarjeta de red. ¿Alguna idea?
