ffmpeg (Ere: avi2vcd)

instale ffmpeg para usar transcoder, pero al hacer el ./configure me dice que no está ffmpeg.h... ahora no entiendo nada, el ffmpeg lo instalé con synaptic así que no debería haber problemas, pero efectivamente no existe el .h, hay que bajarlo aparte o debiera haber venido?
