Ya me habían dado esa recomendación; incluso eliminé y reistalé desktop-SuSe-data, pero  no pasó nada.

Es más, al reiniciar, se perdió el fondo de pantalla y las fuentes volvieron a ser invisibles (eso es más obvio).
