Problemas con descargas de paquetes en Fedora

Gracias por tu comentario.  Me porte a fedora 24 para ver si funcionaba un
poco mejor el asunto, pero no avanza mucho.  De hecho es curioso, pero
insiste en usar mirror desde brasil, mira:

y en el fedora.repo esta metalink activado.


encontro actualización de google-chrome y nunca la descarga siempre dice
que es muy lento, llega hasta el 30% general y queda pegado, aunque marca
más de 1MB de velocidad.  al menos si trato de descargar el paquete con
wget también falla.
