Problema refresco de pantalla kubuntu 7.10

Saludos a todos tengo el siguiente problema tenia funcionando bien mi
pc en kubuntu 7.04 pero actualice a 7.10 ahora hay varias
aplicaciones que no funcionan debido a que la pantalla no se refresca
con suficiente velocidad
he buscado en varios foros y no he encontrado una respuesta que
solucione el problema mi configuración actual xorg.conf es.
Cualquier ayuda se agradece
