de la UTFSM (y seguramente via videoconferencia en el Campus Santiago?). La
charla es en ingles. La plataforma de desarrollo es Linux, por lo que

Informatics Issues and the Development of a Collaborative Medical
Information Environment

The Online Medical Information Exchange (OMIE) is a collaborative
environment for exchanging medical information, which is being implemented
worldwide.  It is a collaboration both from users perspective and regarding
its involvement of industry, academia, government and private hospitals.
This talk will focus on the roots of OMIE as a Linux-based system, its use
with Linux wireless tablets, and many of the informatics problems which we
have encountered during its development.
