Hola a todos,

Hoy estuve conversando con Stephen Spector del proyecto "xen.org" (con
quien he estado trabajando hace algunos meses en eventos y proyectos)
sobre la posibilidad de participar en el encuentro Linux 2009.

hace poco se realizo el "Xen Summit Nort America"

y actualmente esta agendado un Xen Directions en Berlin

y hay gestiones para participar en la FISL

creo que seria atractivo para ambas partes conversar sobre las
posibilidades de trabajar juntos.

I think hosting the Xen Directions is Chile is a great idea! If you
send me information on when the event is I can add it to my plans and
start working with you on getting speakers to attend; perhaps even Ian
Pratt or myself depending on schedules. The website didn't have any
dates on it, at least based on my poor reading of Spanish.

As for FISL, I have not heard back but I am sure they are busy
preparing for the 2009 event in 2 months. I anticipate that they will
agree to host a Xen Directions so I am waiting till after the event to
contact them.

I don't received more updates about FISL, you have any news ??

for other side, yesterday I was thinking about requirements to hosting
a Xen Day / Directions in "Encuentro Linux 2010"
(http://www.encuentrolinux.cl/) ???
This meeting, is the most important in Chile and meets persons of
various sectors (University, Government, Privates and others).
I have a good communication and relation with organization of
Encuentro Linux for years.. and I believe that is possible have a
space to XEN in this event.

what is your opinion/commentaries ?
