leer cinta dat en openbsd

hello listeros: estoy tratando de leer una cinta (dds, 90) en una dat (dat8, hp) montada sobre un openbsd, y al momento de tirar un tar tvf /dev/st0

recibo lo siguiente:

Y con un dmesg obtengo lo siguiente:

ahc1: target 3 synchronous at 10.0MHz, offset = 0xf

Estuve buscando información y al parecer es un problema con el blocksize con que fue garabada la cinta, además encontre referencia de incompatibilidad con cintas grabadas en hardware sun y/o s.o solaris, y me huele que esta cinta fue grabada en una maquina con estas caracteristicas, ya que obviamente el origen de la cinta se desconoce (s.o en q fue grabada, que tipo de hardware usaban, etc).

Alguna ayuda de alguien que se peine con unidades de respaldo.
