Alias en la Interface de red

Um extraño, probá aca y con una ip misma red/misma netmask que la interfaz
en cuestion y no te deja, aunque si lo vemos quizas asi debe funcionar, mira
esto sacado del man de ifconfig de un free 5.0


 alias   Establish an additional network address for this interface.  This
         is sometimes useful when changing network numbers, and one wishes
         to accept packets addressed to the old interface.  If the address
         is on the same subnet as the first network address for this
         interface, a non-conflicting netmask must be given.  Usually
         0xffffffff is most appropriate.

asi que ponlo con una netmas distinta, no es necesario que sea la misma
netmask, ahora para que necesitas que el alias tenga una ip del mimso
segmento que el asignado a la interfaz real???
