Este *Martes 10 de Noviembre a las 12:00 hrs* el Prof. Pierre Hadaya de la Université du Québec à Montréal  (Canada) ofrecerá una charla titulada "Business Architecture: The missing link in Strategy formulation, implementation and Execution". La actividad tendrá lugar en la F-106 en Casa Central y se transmitirá por videoconferencia al Laboratorio de Programación Avanzada (LPA) del Campus Santiago San Joaquín.

*Resumen:* 
The objective of this seminar is threefold:
1. Identify the determinants of Business architecture;
2. Describe what is Business architecture;
3. Highlight the benefits Business architecture provides to the formulation, implementation and execution of a strategy.


*Mini Bio:* 
Mr. Hadaya has been working in the information and communication technologies (ICT) industry since 1995 when he received his bachelor in Electrical Engineering. He has occupied diverse positions in the private sector including pre-sales, product manager, integrator, consultant and trainer with different companies including Microsoft Canada.
Pierre Hadaya is now a full professor in the Department of Management and Technology at the École des Sciences de la Gestion de l’Université du Québec à Montréal. He holds a PhD in Management of Technology from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. His main research interests lie at the intersection of information technology management, business strategy, and interorganizational design.
In parallel to his academic responsibilities, Mr. Hadaya collaborates with several organizations in the private sector dedicated to develop world-class IT capabilities to transform their business effectively and become more innovative and competitive. His consulting and advisory activities mainly focus on the strategic alignment of IT via joint business/IT strategy and planning as well as the implementation of an enterprise architecture practice.
