con saludar, le escribo para avisar que el Software Group
del Observatorio Paranal acaba de abrir una posición para un
Software Engineer. El equipo está formado por 12 ingenieros
que nos encargamos de mantenimiento, mejora y soporte del
software utilizado para la operación científica del
observatorio (como el software que se utiliza para control
de los telescopios o para el uso de los diversos
instrumentos).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Courier New""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">Este
es un interesante desafío que podría ser de interés tanto
para alumnos recién egresados (en especial para aquellos con
experiencia en el área durante sus estudios) como para
ex-alumnos con experiencia. En el Observatorio Paranal
tenemos 4 telescopios de 8[m] de diámetro, 2 telescopios
para rastreo y 4 telescopios auxiliaries que se utilizan
para interferometría (uno de los sistemas ópticos más
avanzados del mundo). Estos telescopios y sistemas se
utilizan para 15 instrumentos científicos de diferentes
tipos. El sitio también estará involucrado tanto en el
futuro E-ELT como en otros proyectos que se instalarían en
las cercanías.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
