¿Porque el año 2023 empieza ahora? ... varios de ustedes buscaran practicas y trabajo para el proximo año, pero debemos prepararnos desde antes .. es asi como la U te invita a la feria de empresas y para ello debes inscribirte ya ... va link e informacion al cierre del mail.
Por otra parte, algunas y algunos tienen dudas que envian sobre practicas .. reiteradamente les mencionamos que todo la informacion esta en nuestro sitio de informatica, que dados los escasos tiempos con que se cuenta y que ustedes seran expertos en manejar informacion (son informaticos) les pedimos que nos pregunten solo como ultimo recurso ... al respecto les adjunto el proceso detallado (ver pdf) y link al sitio [ https://practicas.inf.utfsm.cl/#/ | https://practicas.inf.utfsm.cl/#/ ] donde ademas hay un video que lo explica.
Contamos con esta valiosa herramienta que son estas 2 listas, que suman mas de 1000 integrantes y periodicamente les enviamos las ofertas que nos llegan ... sabemos que tienen poco tiempo, el fin de semestre ya es, pero no podemos dejar para mas adelante pues sabemos que el 2023 empezo ya (mas aun cuando a nivel mundial y local la situacion laboral proxima se observa incierta) ... We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. The Summer Analyst Program starts in January, 09 2023 , is a 8 weeks Program with an in-depth education on the fundamentals of the Analyst role, as well as the nuances of Citi’s culture. The program also includes on the desk training, an informative speaker series as well as networking opportunities. Summer Analysts often return to Citi after graduating from University to become full-time Analysts and continue their career in technology.
Program Responsibilities:
Your typical day will look something like this.
As a ICG Tech Summer Analyst, you will work in a dynamic environment that adapts to the needs and priorities of the Trading, Sales and Middle Office. As you gain business knowledge combined with your technical skills, you will swiftly troubleshoot problems and provide solutions. This involves coordinating with other technology partners such as developers, business teams, etc. to monitor the end-to-end application environment in real-time. Projects that Summer Analysts have worked on in the past:
Improving Production Support Monitoring Techniques – Monitoring is vital to alert support to any issues within the production environment so they can quickly resolve them. Our analysts help to build upon and improve our current platform – using street-standard tools such as ITRS and ECS.
Design, development and implementation of tooling – Support analysts will have the opportunity to develop applications and scripts to aid themselves and their teams in their job. Our past analysts have implemented solutions that helped develop and hone their software development skills, ranging from excel macros, to python scripts, to C# and Java applications.
Organizational and operational efficiency improvements – Within various support teams there are still day to day activities that are being performed manually, so our analysts get involved in efficiency improvement projects to see where tasks can be automated or streamlined to free their time to get involved in strategic projects that can better serve the business.
