Government as a Platform (GaaP) is a recent phenomenon in which governments start developing smart platforms which can be used by application developers, users, citizens and others to deliver public value. GaaP provides the flexibility to connect to other systems, is able to integrate new functions and intelligence, provides collaboration tools and is able to share and disclose data. Dr. Janssen acted as the leading Expert for the European Union in the revision of European Interoperability Framework (EIF) related to the opening of data and data sharing.
