Dr. Janssen acted as the leading Expert for the European Union in the revision of European Interoperability Framework (EIF) related to the opening of data and data sharing. Marijn Janssen was ranked as one of the leading e-government researchers in surveys in 2009, 2014 and 2016, and has published over 400 refereed publications.
